Pros

The people I worked with were incredibley helpful, friendly, and competent. As an intern I was given some very fun and interesting opportunities, not only in terms of work. I handled real projects and had real responsibilities. I was not in charge of bringing people coffee or other cliche intern tasks. I felt appreciated and respected at all times.

Cons

I don't know how much the internship goes toward helping you land a real job with the company. But otherwise, there were very few cons to my experience.

Pros

Your coworkers are intelligent and fun. The manager/supervisor was really helpful and understanding. Gave feedback when you ask for it. The people you work with make it fun and great.

Cons

Most of the internships at NBC universal are unpaid. I had to take a course to receive college credit. Other than that it was great.

Pros

Good exposure to the media industry. Work close to senior level management, giving you exposure for future career growth and opportunities

Cons

Job environment is very competitive as almost everyone starting out has a connection in some way to the industry. Promotions are hard to come by.
