Pros

Nice coworkers, interesting problems to solve

Cons

Salary not as competitive as other companies. Depending on the organization, some of them lack direction and constantly change strategy

Pros

Good pay outside of the US.

Cons

The culture went down the drain. There is no "Microsoft". It's just a bunch of island orgs, divisions, departments, all fighting to stay relevant and survive and prove they are still needed. Especially in Product there is an incredible fight for survival, PMs stealing initiatives from each other, PM teams hiding information, not giving access to internal products or knowledge so that no one steals their ideas or data. PMs trying to stall or even sabotage other competing teams. A sort of hunger-games style where you need to be on top of the game. No one cares about the customer, what a joke. There is no way any good product ever comes out of this. And previous benefits went away (stability, good culture, people focus, work-life balance), none of that exists anymore. Only re-orgs and layoffs every quarter.
