      Avoid Medidata unless you are a white man or need this job as a stepping stone to something better

      Pros

      Salary compensation is decent but declining Unlimited pto that is almost impossible to take Fast paced

      Cons

      You will work 24/7 and still won’t be able to achieve all the expectations set for you. They tell you they care and offer wellness benefits but that is to be done on top of the work you have. It’s an old boys network in top management so forget moving up unless you are a white male. Too many times I’ve heard comments about how men in management don’t believe highly talented women couldn’t do it. They don’t like people to stay long and do things to encourage turnover as a regular practice. Processes, plans, vision changes by the minute

      Pros

      Helping the world change things for the better through Clinal trials. Medidata created the gold standard for clinical trials.

      Cons

      It would seem to me that management has lost touch with the employees. There have been acquisitions and the old guard does not accept change. I have never worked with a company that does not care for their employees as they do Medidata. When the business changed, they were quick to release good people with little or no severance. I understand a corporate policy to reduce costs, but you should be treating people with respect if the business environment changes beyond their control. People that are not in their HQ offices are not engaged with leadership.

      At least it's a job

      Cons

      I have gotten some horrible management The bonus is terrible The upper management lacks a clear vision and gets credit for work that they didnt do The tech teams are working their own stuff, collaboration is rare. Tons of work, lack of credit. Promotion within the tech is tough
