Pros

Very stable company. Good atmosphere, with a sincere non-assuming feeling.

Cons

Too much emphasis on metrics and the actual time taken to complete a task, in the use of Siebel time management program.

Cons

CIO, Program Manager, IT operation lead, team leaders (except idiots) all resigned. One day, 7 people were called into a meeting room and terminated by being given 10 mins to pack things and asked to leave the premises. They think people are numbers and figures to be disposed/recycled by replacing with the cheap off-shore. Their aim is not to build the foundation by integrating people, but make the quarterly number look good by sacking people and cutting expenses. There are in the game of cost cutting by sacrificing people. They will see the result in 3 years.

Pros

Huge company with plenty of room to grow & move. With so many offices worldwide, you are able to really work where you'd like, if your position & experience allows it. Currently am working on going to Africa for a month with a former school group and working with Marsh to work remotely and with the African offices.

Cons

Very political, as you would expect from a company of this size. The tasks of a Client Rep are very boring, as you are basically half a step above an intern. It helps to learn the business, but be prepared for monotonous task. Also, a very rigid company. They call themselves the "Harvard of Insurance," and their track record stands behind it. That also means you get that stiff, sometimes stuck-up attitude from people.
