Pros

a relaxed environment, good people.

Cons

The pay is very poor, and advancement seems to be focused on length of employment rather than on merit. Inadequate quality system that can only hurt you, since the bonuses for high quality were abandoned.

Pros

Good benefits and a solid company history.

Cons

Manager aren't eager or interested in developing, encouraging or promoting those under their charge. Focus us on their own results and promotion. If you are an administrative team member - there's no administrative job growth. The only place to move up is to use your gained experience and find another job elsewhere

Good resources, insufficient pay

Business Outlook

Pros

Benefits are fair, good education support, good training program, supportive of flexible schedules and family considerations.

Cons

Pay is low and the longer you work at Marsh the further behind your peers at other companies you get. Support staff cuts mean very long hours. The only way to get a decent raise is to threaten to leave, it seems. Complicated and redundant work systems.
