Pros

Great starting salary; room for growth; if you are able they allow you to work out of your scope of work to learn the business of insurance; and in doing so will eventually allow you to take course on becoming an licensed broker and etc.

Cons

Not enough assistance in the team working area.

Pros

Interesting work. You meet and see a large variety of businesses. The added value services of marsh risk consulting are unique to the insurance business and this is a great sales tool.

Cons

New York based business plans create a lot of paper work that is a waste of time. You are so busy logging your time and reporting to accountants that it is no wonder shares have dropped.

Pros

Management is very positive and understanding about time off request. Casual atmosphere is great.

Cons

The work is tedious and after a few months you will have mastered the material. After a while everyday is exactly the same.
