Pros

-There are many very intelligent people that you can learn a lot from. - Lots of resources and different positions/roles available (if your willing to move around). - Interesting clients to work for.

Cons

-a few complete idiots in senior level positions and I have no idea how they have stuck around. -Insurance - Everything is about growth, if you want to be successful you need to be able to sell. Servicing employees are not valued as much as they once were. In fairness, it is a strong company which makes selling a good opportunity.

Pros

A majority of the people at Marsh are hard working, helpful and kind spirits, but the bad are horribly awful and selfish. Those that were once dedicated to the firm are now just lying low to avoid being layed off. I believe the firm can provide good, solid career growth for those on the business side.

Cons

The firm is not dedicated to a first infrastructure. HR, IT and Finance talent is mediocre and productivity is lacking. Finance is a dysfunctional diaster. Bad leadership who has no desire to grow and retain talent. Pockets of favoritsm from the top. Has become a sweat shop. Lawsuits may be imminent (discrimination, biases, affairs, etc.)
