Pros

Can bring dog to work if you are in managements good graces - But you will have to completely change your personality to do so Decent enough corporate stepping stone if you want to work in Nashville

Cons

Management does not lead by example Way too much hypocrisy DEI is rampant and plays major role in office culture - Pride flags are draped all over the office Too many micro cultures in the company that breed resentment and an inequitable environment Members of the Logistics team gossip about other team members behind their backs - leads to poor camaraderie and distrust among the group Team CONSTANTLY complains - Negativity is off the charts Experience completely depends on your Line Manager - TOC team leadership lacks people skills and focuses much more on process due to decline in annual growth post COVID boom Freight Volume is down 40% this year and there are days where there is maybe 30 minutes of real work - Leads to disengagement Does not utilize team members’ strengths well - Highlights and micromanages weaknesses

Pros

Nice people and a known brand globally

Cons

There's absolutely no career growth - 0 structure, you have to play politics and not upset anyone (which means it's better to do nothing than drive value & impact). Seen completely incompetent people become VP/CDIO (switching from MW to Pet Nutrition) with 0 understanding of value or analytics and just doing "RACI" type discussions (current CDIO of Europe in PN). P&O (HR) is COMPLETELY USELESS - they have no idea what's best practice at other companies, it's mostly young and incompetent lifers, having worked nowhere else. There's absolutely no support beyond talk for career development in analytics. New CDO does nothing but politics in MW (constantly going to "workshops" for 2 years). No one at VP level knows analytics, they just play politics. Looking to do the dumbest acquisition in CPG since the Heinz/Kraft merger. K's stock price has been tanking for decades, but here we are - acquiring a company that's high in sugar & salt rather than healthy (where all of the growth is). MW CEO wants to become the Mars Inc CEO, no doubt, and apparently this is needed for that? Horrible horrible acquisition.
