Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are proud of our French origins at Mangopay but as a business made up of 41 nationalities in 21 countries we are truly international. Only a third of our workforce and leadership team are based in France and we continue to hire at all levels across our seven largest locations. We are actively building a transparent culture, embedding our ‘build trust’ leadership principle as a way of working. Updates from our leadership team are very accessible through monthly informal sessions, quarterly business meetings and ongoing Slack discussions. However, we’re sorry to hear that this was not how you found things. As a business which is scaling at pace, from time to time, we make careful and considered adjustments to our structure and our strategy. This is essential to ensure that Mangopay is well-positioned for sustainable growth, but we appreciate that change is not always easy for the individuals concerned. As a company we have gone through a significant amount of change in the last two years and the tech evolution at Mangopay has been accelerated to reflect this, with the team achieving many meaningful milestones during the last 18 months. These include Mangopay transitioning to fully running on cloud, our data platform being boosted to its nextgen phase, our tech stack being modernised and becoming more scalable and polyglot, to name just a few. Mangopay offers significant tech challenges for engineers who enjoy problem solving and find fulfilment in taking part in a substantial tech journey whilst being given the opportunity to make a significant impact. We are ambitious so we shoot for the stars, but we appreciate that this pace does not suit everyone. However our culture has always been open and welcoming at all levels and more so at the leadership level, truly working as one team. Like many other companies, we leverage the benefits of Slack for collaboration purposes, using its integration with other applications and ability to automate workflows to support our work. We understand the volume and high frequency of information can seem overwhelming to some, but we see it as a necessity in this day and age for a modern company to use a commoditised toolkit such as Slack to communicate and collaborate.
