Pros

Generous 25% off discount for all employees Commission and bonuses on top of salary The store had a real sense of team effort about it !

Cons

Unrealistic expectations set by area manager/senior management and executives! As a lot of the senior management were Spanish (Spanish company) communication was extremely poor and when visiting the branch they appeared extremely unfriendly! Senior management did not care for the sales associates at all. Working hours and conditions were not great. Staff are poorly treated (even the most senior positions in the store) If daily, weekly and monthly targets were not met there would very bad and pressurised vibe in store. The work itself was very repetitive, being made to stay on one section for nearly an 8 hour shift was extremely tiresome. The branch I worked for did not have a security guard even though it was a big store because company bosses didn't want to pay for one so therefore,it was up to sales assistants to look out for any suspicious activity and act as the shops security ! Lowish wage even when going the extra mile and management expecting certain members of the team to do more senior jobs not in their job description (count the cash/man the tills etc.)

Pros

Coworkers were all nice and friendly, the shifts were flexible enough, working in the fitting room was probably one of the best spots

Cons

Management always plays favoritism, but nothing too big to worry about- just do your job, commission was pretty much little to nothing and you really had to fight for it if you wanted to make their sales goal (which is pretty tough for slower days)

Pros

Big fashion company that will help you to get another job afterwards.

Cons

Bad environment in the stores and in the head-office. No opportunities to develop new projects nor support from the Country Manager.
