      Overworked and underpaid

      50% discount, you can bring home old products, good values, eco-friendly, vegan-friendly

      Cons

      Crazy expectations to increase sales year on year as prices of their products rise. Duties for a sales consultant often go above and beyond what you're contracted to do and more similar to a supervisor without the pay rise for your trouble. Even though I had double-knee surgery and asked for medical leave I was on the rota to work 20hrs (I couldn't stand or walk). If the manager doesn't like you, they'll make your life hell until you quit.

      Fun place but low pay

      Pros

      Created strong bonds with staff and colleagues and had an overall great time working on the shop floor. A lot of regular, almost daily training in various but relative topics regarding ingredients, products, origins etc.

      Cons

      Relatively low pay for part timers, not a lot of staff benefits and sometimes favoritism happens.

      Able to move horizontally in the company at a low level

      Cons

      Inbred organisation with low level of skills in almost every position. They hire a large quantity of cheap foreign labour at just above minimum wage, but nearly all other roles that are on a salary are 50% under market value. There is also limited personal growth as the company rely on personal relationships for promotion and most of the people in the company came straight from school when the company started and have there high position through longevity rather than competence.
