Pros

Steady pay, looks good on a resume

Cons

Co-workers think they own the office, stuck-up seasoned employees, in office politics are a daily problem and high turnover. And god forbid you leave food overnight in the fridge, it will be thrown out and fridge use will be banned.

Pros

30% Discount on Merchandise, 70+% on damaged or out of season merchandise. Interesting clients. Looks good on a resume.

Cons

Politics play a much larger role in decisions than competence. Low pay/bonus structure compared to other luxury brands. Corporate likes to micromanage and sometimes don't have their priorities straight. (I.e. a store that is being staffed by 2 people a day, instead of the 5 it is supposed to have scheduled. Nobody is pulled from other stores that have proper staffing to assist and salespeople are told to go in the back and write thank you cards while customers are in the store trying to shop and just get frustrated and leave). If you aren't French, European or speak French fluently you are a second class member of the team.
