Pros

I did meet some wonderful coworkers that I will continue to have a friendship with outside of work for years to come.

Cons

If you value your overall well-being you will stay far away from this toxic institution. Where do I even begin? I was promised the world with all the growth opportunities. I was promised being converted to permanent and being promoted to a team leader. With that empty promise thrown my way I put in so much hard work and dedication for almost a year. All for the rug to be ripped from underneath me. I was lied to, lead on, and let go. A case of wrongful termination. Any positive reviews you see on here are fake and generated by HR and the company “favorites” because of how despicable this corporation actually is. Management is very toxic and they play very dirty into nepotism. Don’t even think about taking any sick days unless you’re one of their favorites. You can take off for an entire month you will be welcomed back with open arms. The rest of us are not as privileged. When you’re not being verbally abused, yelled at, cussed at by the clients, management will not support you. There is a unprofessional lack of communication from everyone at LV especially HR. I sold thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and didn’t even get a thank you email. I built great clientele and great client relations. You will get paid very poor wages the commission is awful. I was there almost a year and did not receive any benefits because apparently they still labeled me as “seasonal” so they didn’t have to give me a raise and pay me my benefits. Seasonal for almost a year? Give me a break, it was the most absurd thing I’ve ever heard of in my entire life. This job is a joke. It gave me so much trauma, so much unhealed anxiety, so many sleepless nights not knowing what my fate would be, so many days of having panic attacks if I would go off que for more than 2 mins at a time. You will be watched, you will be micromanaged, you will be questioned. You will feel like they are drowning you. There’s a reason why the turnover rate is so high and why people quit left and right or get fired. You will not be appreciated, you will not be rewarded, you will only be lied to and it will only result in heartache. Listen to this warning don’t even bother… RUN away.

Pros

Most of the employees are kind but they end up leaving due to mistreatment and micromanaging. Very sad and completely unacceptable especially in these times. They gave me suicide hotline and a bunch of other people that work there are so miserable … they come into work crying. What kind of company allows this ??

Cons

Store director and management team are awful to their employees and to certain customers. Very biased, toxic and unfair work environment that needs to be addressed by LVMH corporation.
