Pros

Co-workers were like family, traveling for trainings, learning about new products coming out, gaining a lot of product knowledge, benefits weren't bad

Cons

No room for advancement. The company always hire from outside the company. HR is incompetent. Does not want to listen to employees issues. Everything is political. Bonus structure is VERY hard to achieve (this is what I hear from current employees). It continually gets worse. Raises ranged from .10-.45 an hour. Long hours. Management not being completely knowledgable. Short-staffed all the time. Hours cut constantly because budgets keep getting smaller. Couldn't stand behind the products anymore. Cutting ways to make them cheaper.

Pros

Generous discount, dry cleaned suits, good hourly pay

Cons

Having worked there for about 2 years I have learned that management always has to have somebody on the chopping block, maybe to flex their power. Management is very secretive, and information is not given that might be needed to better serve customers. Trying to order an item in is impossible because nobody will work together and requests are usually ignored, and then customers scream and scream when the order is not fulfilled. The customers are generally awful and act entitled. Recently, they have done a training for all employees which was the first helpful training I have received, as I was not trained in the first place, just dumped onto the sales floor. I still feel unprepared for the job, maybe because management will only point out the negative. My eyes twitch non-stop. I have not taken a weekend off in 6 months, because the last time I did, I missed my sales goal and got my discount taken away for 6 months. This is the only company I have worked for that does not offer part time employee benefits like sick time or holiday pay. The amount of paperwork for every thing is disgusting, and wasteful. When I talk about it, I realize just how much I don't like working there. I hate to hop around jobs and cannot find anything else at the moment. There is 0 room for advancement, in my 2 years I have only seen people get fired, and not 1 promotion. I miss my old job.

Pros

you meet all kinds of people, You make commission , employee discount of 30%, the uniforms are really nice , get to see new launches , build relationships , hours were nice shifts were nice but can be long especially on the friday and saturday mainly saturdays you are surely to make a good commission . Hourly pay of 19 hr . part time is 28-36 a week, you get a work phone

Cons

stressful , have to meet a lot of sales goals especially selling high end , $5,000 in high end for your monthly goal, its best to sell high end at least once a month , take 40% of taxes out of your commission in my state , client sometimes don not answer their phones when you do client outreaches , some workers don't want to work , a lot of racial negative encounters I am a person of color so I have seen it all of course i was a diversity hire like we all are at my location management was horrible , did not like dealing with angry clients they would leave us employee's to deal with it depending on who is upset, managers are very clickish , no room for moving up unless you want to be there for 10 years then maybe my last coworker actually left because they gave her the key holder and no raise in pay and she was the expert client advisor
