Pros

A dynamic environment that broadens your perspective and helps you adapt to the large scale vision of luxury retail. LV reflects the innovative spirit and vision of LVMH well. Elegant uniforms make you feel part of something prestigious. Fast Paced, Engaging Work ...The pace ensures you’re constantly challenged and never bored lol Diverse Product Categories . A wide range of métiers that allow you to explore and find the area you are most passionate about. As an international company, Louis Vuitton offers career mobility and the possibility to relocate both nationally and internationally.

Cons

Bad base salary and commission that isn’t good either. The environment is fast paced and demands your full energy and time, with the expectation that you approach the job with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive sales and earn money. You wear the beautiful uniform and feel successful, and in many ways that spirit is positive and common in retail. But I still see it as a con because the economic environment doesn’t always support you bank account every month. They might say, if you work harder enough then you can have $$$ ...... and you keep up with the pressure of pushing new launches, driving cross-selling, meeting targets, chasing team members or being chased by managers. And while the bigger commissions end up going to a small group of top sellers who carry the store’s results, most people still work just as hard without seeing a fair return. So you work, work, work & the commission still doesn’t add up. The clients still expect a luxury level experience, and the stress remains the same, you might as well go into real estate instead with the entrepreneurial mindset.
