Pros

Salary is decent but not reflective of the working conditions and impact on work / life balance.

Cons

The way the company is represented in the Irish media or throughout the entire recruitment process is very different to the reality once you are operating in store. The working environment is regularly unsafe and cultures exist that are putting staff at risk. Also an untrustworthy HR department that lacks integrity. They preach all the right practices but the reality is very different.

Pros

- You *might* occasionally get a day off uninterrupted, might being the operative word

Cons

- When (not if) they mess your pay up, your have to wait a month for them to sort it - Contacted 30 hours, actually working 45-50+ on average - Always being harassed to come in on your days off - Expected, not asked, to stay until everything is done (0330 finish on a 1400-2300 shift a few times) - If you're ill, they treat you like you're a burden and make you feel worse - Rota changes almost every single day so you never know what you're doing (and it's always piling more hours on to you) - Work/Life balance is non-existent, you'd earn less if they paid you for being at home - No Health and Safety policy according to management. - Expected to meet completely and utterly unrealistic targets and hounded constantly if you're not massively exceeding them by managers who do nothing except walk around complaining everyone in the store is too slow and not actually doing anything to help. - Always having to embarrassingly apologise to customers because the products they've purchased are either damaged or mouldy. - Avoid like the plague if you're anything other than single, or you soon will be.
