Pros

Flexibility to work from home

Cons

No assigned seats. You get a locker like in high school and have to reserve a desk every day. Not enough desks so you may not sit near your team. Terrible health benefits. Job security is lacking. Across the company in different functions and areas they are aggressively moving to outsourcing. At the same time they tell us we will get used to and comfortable with this new way of working. Frequent reorganizations make job security even worse.

Pros

Great people, company, benefits and pay. Work from home after 6 months. Great hours if you are up to date on your work and flexible with when you come in and leave. You can choose your own hours.

Cons

As an adjuster, there is more work than hours in a day. You may be willing to put in the extra time but they don't want you to since you have to claim it, understandably they don't want to pay overtime if possible. Many employees would just put in the hours and not log them. Stress levels are high since its too easy to get behind and catching up can take weeks. Miss one day and your behind for a minimum of a week. Usually I saw people take a day or two off and somehow not get turned off on claims so when they came back they had new claims when they shouldn't have. Makes you never want to take a vacation.

Pros

Great pay and some good challenging work. You'll be surrounded by a very high caliber of professionals--- smart and driven.

Cons

Re-org's every 5 seconds will make you lose your mind. It's the easy way for executives to duck responsibility for plans and objectives that generally miss targets and then get washed away in a re-org. Company does a lot to appeal to employees but at the end of the day will eliminate roles without much consideration--- the loyalty part is definitely not a 2-way street. The politics and favoritism are unusually strong and pervasive. Employee "discount" on insurance is the same as virtually all outsiders get, so no real benefit to be an employee-customer.
