Pros

None that I can think off!

Cons

Poorly managed, purple circle culture. No work in Western Australia due to poorly managed tender team.

Pros

Some great people to work with. But the great one's are far over shadowed by the empire builders & back-stabbers.

Cons

Highly political. No support from mgmt. No support or direction from line managers. Left to your own devices to sink or swim. Successes are rarely recognized, but shortcomings or incorrect actions are jumped on. Internal communication is non-existent. Ask for help and you are ignored. Do it wrong or make a mistake & you are hung out... The only way to be recognized is to be ruthless & step on others. Not a nice environment to work in.

Pros

They are some genuine, lovely people working for this business especially outside the head office. Pay and package is good and they have a great Christmas party!

Cons

This company is run by a very small group of people afraid to let anyone have responsibility for decisions or budgets, a big negative to working for a family run business. You have to be very senior before you have any serious responsibility and considered weak of you ask for help. I lost count of the times I generally needed support but was told to come to a meeting with "solutions" not "problems". I personally do not like the management style encouraged by senior leadership, you can expect many people above a certain level to never return your calls or emails and this is generally accepted. People are put under a lot of pressure to show commitment, drive and work stupid hours if they are to get ahead in the business. If you are young, happy to work more than live, move at a moments notice, and join the "boys club" this place is for you!
