Good personal development. Plenty of good, talented engineers to learn off. Challenging working conditions can provide you with a very good starting point in your career.

Cons

Not always given the time required to learn/review performance whilst on site. Long days with a lot expected of potentially inexperienced engineers. Working with inexperienced managers can be challenging.
