      Learned how to communicate cross-functionally with supply chain partners as well as the business itself.

      There were too many reports and meetings.

      Pros

      Stability, company is growing and making profit. Work-life balance is ok depending on the divisions: Sales and marketing more sacrifice requested. Finance, Order management logistics and other back-office functions more stable 9 to 5.30 working shifts

      Cons

      Salary below average and not aligned even internally (similar roles with very different salaries). Very Korean, if you know what I mean. Most business decisions are top down and it's not always possible to find a logic in it. It's not difficult to ask "Why A instead of B?" and get an answer like "Because Mr. X said so". Many decisions are not taken locally by the sales subsidiaries but are heavily influenced by the Korean HQ decisions.

      Pros

      Very friendly and open about what they do. First day interns were showed around and provided with lunch. Free lunch every Friday and lunch & learns for interns every other Wednesday.

      Cons

      Very Korean environment - I felt a little out of the loop from the other interns sometimes because I was not korean
