Pros

Pay is good for retail job is relatively easy if you have common sense Flexible rota

Cons

Customers can be annoying, lazy and lack knowledge of the products they need. so you will end up finding yourself giving advise, without being qualified to do so. Unfortunately you do not get tips or commission. Oh and not enough diversity in higher positions, Although I do know of a few Area managers of Asian decent to be fair. A LOT of diversity in ASM and below OH sorry and last thing, the store opening and closing times are ridiculous!!

Pros

Lots of variety, good people mostly, good benefits schemes

Cons

Current strategy is pulling the group in different directions, aspirations for class leading e commerce seem at odds with chronic under investment in modernising the in store selling systems- they could go much faster if they focused on killing off old systems before building new ones
