Pros

Kingfisher is a company that treats its employees exceptionally well, fostering a positive and supportive culture. The work hours are reasonable, and flexible arrangements are available for remote workers in the UK, making it an accommodating and employee-friendly workplace. Salary as well is very competitive.

Cons

Working with companies owned by Kingfisher can sometimes be challenging. Stakeholders often have a tendency to delegate work they prefer not to handle to the Group, which fosters a culture of poor ownership. This ambiguity around what the Group is responsible for versus what the companies should deliver often leads to frustration and weakens recognition for contributions. Additionally, stakeholders from the banners can be quick to take credit for initiatives they haven’t fully driven. This, in turn, undermines genuine appreciation for the Group’s role in enabling strategic projects to succeed, creating further frustration and a lack of recognition for the effort involved.
