Pros

Overtime is probably the only benefit. Decent salary

Cons

I am reporting racist behaviour by several managers within the organisation. Their conduct towards ethnic minority employees, particularly those of African descent and South Asian descent, has been consistently discriminatory and has created a hostile work environment. Managers have explicitly stated that with Donald Trump back in power the company no longer needs to support diversity, equity, or inclusion initiatives. These remarks were followed by, and appeared to justify, unequal and racially biased treatment. Employees of African descent and South Asian descent are frequently spoken to in an aggressive and demeaning manner, while white male employees are not subjected to the same behaviour. This pattern is persistent, noticeable, and deeply concerning. The behaviour exhibited by these managers is racist. It targets individuals on the basis of their race and it affects both the psychological safety and the professional stability of those employees. Alongside the discriminatory conduct, there are serious operational issues. Engineering projects are routinely underbid with unrealistic hour estimates, and employees are pressured to work excessive unpaid overtime to compensate. This practice is unethical and contributes to burnout and declining work quality. The company’s reliance on under supported offshore teams further exposes structural problems. These teams are assigned complex tasks without sufficient resources, yet management blames them for predictable quality issues rather than addressing the underlying systemic failures. This dynamic reinforces a culture of scapegoating rather than accountability. Taken together, these behaviours demonstrate significant problems in leadership, workplace equity, and ethical standards, and they warrant immediate formal investigation.
