Pros

1. Semi-Flexible timings. 2. Some people are very nice. 3. Very nice new building and coffee. 4. Nice food prices in canteen. 5. Some administrative things are improving.

Cons

1. Not really technical as advertised. More administrative work like managing supplier etc. 2. Project guidance and planning is not good. No firm decisions made by management and architects. 3. Not much scope for creativity. 4. Inter site, and intra site politics affect the projects' future. 5. Bonus/hikes range is low.

Pros

They are willing to throw money at projects, so if there’s something you’re interested in working on the funding is generally available. However if your project requires travel you’re out of luck.

Cons

The U.S. branch of this company has very little respect or compassion for their employees. It’s all business and backwards policies that have a negative impact on employee wellbeing. Pros

Learning Scheme for extracurricular activities, Ford Car Discount

Cons

JLR Discount is small, better deals had at dealers as walk in, No discount on Range Rovers. University Training is poorly run and organised sometimes lacks focus. Managers get involved in Small details and don't work on how things get done. Too Many middle managers. Lots of inappropriate hires into positions of management. Lots of inexperienced hires into Engineering Management positions and Engineering positions. Inadequate planning means lots of botch jobs and fix things later type attitudes which wastes lots of money. Moral is low in the sharp end of the company. Too much posing and acting professional rather than being professional. Too much focus on individuals. Firefighting type culture. Lack of ability to fix problems and processes. HR is unapproachable. Payroll is contacted through Email and problems are not easily fixed. Security treats everyone as criminals. The company does not look after employees. Management does not look after employees. Decisions are made unilaterally by those of questionable ability, experience and knowledge leading to some colossal problems and screw ups. Regular management changes and promotions has made no difference to areas that do Engineering work and no change has been visible for years. Engineering activities have been made more difficult due to lack of space and hot desking. Car Parks are full or a long distance from the office. Some surfaces are poor. Spaces are narrow. Expect your car to be damaged in some car parks as its almost unavoidable.
