Pros

Good salary, some great colleagues. Flexible hours and home working are possible. Good communication of company performance and product strategy. Job security.

Cons

Managers get promoted by working stupid hours and looking busy not by their abilities and performance. This leaves them stressed, closed to new ideas of working and risk adverse. This company is very slow to make decisions. Senior Managers are often rude and aloof to those in the lower ranks.

Pros

Work from home scheme is good.

Cons

Culture inside JLR is highly based on show off and talking rather than proper output. Many managers in JLR concentrate on politics rather than product and this harms product. Lack of proper automotive software development cycle. Leadership in JLR lacks automotive software background making it difficult to manage and lead. Salaries are humble compared to price of living. Learning path is awful since one rarely finds someone who “actually knows” what they are talking about. HR management is awful.
