Pros

Great products Very competitive salaries for very little effort No accountability - pull the well-being card and you can get away with poor performance

Cons

Promotion prospects based purely on ability to write a good PowerPoint or your personal relationships with influential Directors. Performance doesn’t feed into ability to progress Very management heavy - each manager has an average of only 2-3 direct reports Very hierarchical. Managers have no decision making ability or authority Directors are self serving - they are not acting in the best interests of the company Culture of bullying and brown nosing - need to fall into those categories to progress Appalling leadership behaviours Too slow to react to market changes Totally clueless about the changes needed to help the company survive Wellbeing talked about constantly but it’s all empty words

Pros

None. I am actively looking for a job outside jlr.

Cons

Toxic culture. Incompetent senior managers and directors. JLR created and accepted a bullying culture.
