      Pros

      Great career prospects with regards to 'moving up the ladder.' JLR are great at spotting potential in individuals and encouraging them to advance. Whatever your role is in here you are guaranteed job satisfaction.

      Cons

      The computer systems and parts of the factory are very dated. In some parts of the factory where there are large numbers of people, there can be a 'playground mentality'. It can be hard to raise a grievance against senior management as there is an 'us and them' mentality amongst some of them.

      Pros

      Good salary, some great colleagues. Flexible hours and home working are possible. Good communication of company performance and product strategy. Job security.

      Cons

      Managers get promoted by working stupid hours and looking busy not by their abilities and performance. This leaves them stressed, closed to new ideas of working and risk adverse. This company is very slow to make decisions. Senior Managers are often rude and aloof to those in the lower ranks.

      not a real great care for employees. A lot of theory on what to do for the people, make them grow, etc, but very little practice in the positives
