      Pros

      Flexibility with regards to work hours, and timings. Good benefits package, including maternity and also the Employee Learning Scheme, where you get a contribution towards an external activity each year.

      Cons

      Rules, especially on flexibility can vary wildly depending on who your manager is, although this has been improving.

      Good Salary, Good working environment, You can drink lot of tea and hide.

      Cons

      Line Manager with not engineering skills managing you like a kid and only really concerned about satisfying matrixes to green and their own career. Lots of people that know nothing.

      Many on going projects. Career prospects good for progression.

      Cons

      Unbalanced work load. Little Senior management leadership / direction that leads to delays in programs. Program timing is often aggressively compressed. Inconsistent program targets.
