      Pros

      Best Infrastructure you will ever find in an IT company in India.Good 'parks', lawns, food-courts,Gym,Swimming Pool,Dorm-nice cubicles-very friendly atmosphere inside the company-feels like a College Campus.Work Pressure depends on Project-though usually it is less.Few Good Managers who still follow Good Old Infosys values.

      Cons

      Most People are very average in intellectual ability.Most importantly, this company has zero respect for good technical brains-who are left at the mercy of their managers.Promotions are mainly based on years of experience.Some of the wierdest policies you will ever come accross are implemented by HR .Good brains usually leave this company in 1-2 years, after they see such non-sense going around at work .

      Pros

      1. Excellent 3.5 month training at the stat-of-the-art Infosys Mysore campus 2. If you are a fresher, point 1 should alone suffice to work for Infy 3. Excellent colleagues, & several technical training programs

      Cons

      1. Infy , especially at the fresher level, as a result of it amazing brand equity, & what i call "mindshare" among individuals & the medial, does not pay very well....rather can afford to, pay freshers that not well. 2. But to all freshers out there, i would strongly encourage you, to join Infosys, especially if you want to do an MBA later(it looks gr8 on your resume)

      Pros

      Very friendly and college-like environment (esp. at the lowest rung, of software engineers) Lot of fun activities going on campus, but only at India locations Senior Management who joined Infy as SEs are very friendly and open

      Cons

      Easy to get lost in the crowd - you'll be one among the other 100,000 odd people Long night calls between onsite and offshore Senior Management who join as lateral recruits are typically cultural mis-fits
