      Pros

      Beautiful & Clean workplace. Good facilities. Great place to work if your team and project manager are good. No-risk company even under recession.

      Cons

      The quality of employees is going down day by day. Recruiting too many freshers without knowing their capabilities in software engineering - You and another worst perfromer from your own college may end up working together with same pay even if you're very talented. Quality of work is also deteriorating. No proper recognition for great work done (unless if your manager is a great person) On-Site opportunities are getting lesser day by day... So are the clients... Not enough pay... double promotion can fetch you 2000rs more than a person with no promotion.. shocking..

      Pros

      Great infrastructure. Huge employee strength. Big knowledge pool available to tap. If you just want to lead an average life, this is a good company.

      Cons

      Limited growth opportunities. Restrictive Human Resource policies. Too much discipline expected out of employee while the motivation levels are very low.

      Good infrastructure. Good training. Good brand value.

      Cons

      Not much technical growth. Most projects are testing and support projects. Endless hours of working - working 12 hours is normal -you can't rant about it. I have seen my friends working for 14 hours in night shift. And this is not something people do to be competitive, they are forced for that by their managers. Little respect for employees by their managers. If your team works for 13 hours and you leave in 12 hours , you are considered to have negative attitute. Have little aspirations before you join infosys . work less and enjoy ... don't think you will have brand value on joining infosys. There are 1.2 lakh people working here, which means every fourth person in india working in IT sector is an infoscian. If you have little aspirations here , you will enjoy your life.
