      Pros

      good knowledge mgt, great campus, prospects of good growth, onsite opportunities, senior mgt can be reached easily. Overall a very good process-oriented company to start your career in IT.

      Cons

      work-life imbalance, timelines are sometimes poorly planned, not a great place for the senior engineers who have to lead teams since the team-members to lead are generally fresh-graduates. Management positions have better returns than the technical staff.

      1. Reliable and stable company : Minimal lay offs even in the downturn 2. Good brand value, atleast amngst the customers 3. Opportunity to work onsite 4. Historically, has had good leadership - With Nandan and NRN ... not beyond them

      Cons

      1. Salary is as good as peanuts 2. No loyalty benefits for employees who have had in the company 3. iRace : Good intentions but bad roll out and communication. Loyal employees feel betrayed by it 4. Hitler like HR policies, esp during the downturn which has lead to dissatisfaction in the past couple of years

      Pros

      Powered by intellect, driven by values...From the first day you will notice that Infosys has a lot of very high caliber consultants. I would describe Infosys consultants as extremely sharp and devoted to their company. The company is investing a lot in the wellness and the recognition of his employees: very nice office at Canary Wharf, global Infosys awards where prices (camcorders, iphones or other pieces of technology) are delivered online in front of all employees in the world, training in one of their campus in India, etc...

      Cons

      While the selection process is very hard at Infosys for technical consultants, I can't say the same for the management. I would tend to say that managers hired in the UK do not share the same values as managers hired in India even if they do have an indian background.
