Easy to coast, hard to develop yourself

Pros

Your experience depends on the client/project that you are assigned to. If you get assigned to a FAANG or younger company you will have a blast both in learning experience and overall work environment.

Cons

If you get assigned to a legacy company, you'll probably be working with old code or experience a lot of waiting and bureaucracy just to get the most simplest task done. Or if you are on bench you'll have a lot of downtime, which may or may not be a good thing.

Worst Company Ever

Pros

- Good for inexperienced hires but they put you in bench for long time. Time is valuable. - No layoffs in covid

Cons

- accrued vacation not paid in final payout - very bad immigration policy - No GC if you are not Tech Lead and that also needs to be approved from multiple layers - Inexperienced teams. Everyone looks confused - One letter takes a month to get signed. Too much layers and bureaucracy - Very less pay - I feel I am robbed in multiple ways - Managers are not professional at all. - No annual bonus/benefits. - No team building. You are just a number - I feel I wasted my valuable time. Covid,h1b made me stay
