Pros

- Localisation (Entrecampos, Lisbon) - They pay on time - Business hours (8h-17h, this was good for me)

Cons

- Bad management (really bad) - my manager maybe suffered of multiple personality disorder, because one day he would say 'X', the next day would say "Y" and in the day after would say "Z". If the team would tell him that he said before "X" and "Y", he would neglect it and say that team was wrong and always said "Z". This was something very current. This same manager destroyed three entire teams in an year. Nobody stays more than 6 months. - No career evolution - No training - No vision - Promises that never happen - Salary paid with allowances - You work on a national holiday and they give you one compensation day, instead of at least 1.5 compensation day. - Managers can yell at you and being authoritarian without any repercussions - If you're lucky to get an annual prize, it won't be a great prize - If you travel abroad, you're going to stay at very cheap hotels (you'll be very lucky if you stay on an Ibis) If you want to keep your mental health healthy, please do not accept any job offer from GFI.

Pros

Generally the environment is good but that's it

Cons

-The salaries are very low -No management at all, either from team leader or directors -Nobody cares about your opinions -Old ATS almost useless -Everything is a mess, the jobs are not well distributed, the managers ignore the team and stay like 2 months without answering to mails or calls about the jobs and client feedbacks -The annual prize is ridiculously low -There are no raises -Everybody can say whatever they want, be disrespectful, be aggressive and nobody will fire that person or do something about it -You can stay a year without almost any hires or interviews that nobody will ask you what's going on -And if you do a good job also nobody will recognise it -For more than a year I didn't had a single meeting with the directors nobody cares about the team wellbeing or motivations -There are no growth opportunities, either vertical or horizontal -There's almost no recruitment criteria, if you have 2 legs and 2 arms you're good for GFI -GFI mainly just recruits helpdesks, juniors and system administrators with very low qualities because they have no money to pay the good ones -Management throws out ideias without any criteria (use of data or market trends) they base their ideas on personal experience -Respect is a funny ideia there: there is none unless you are from management and people are scared of you. Forget being included in any decisions, nobody cares -Perks are also a joke: there is old fruit and you need to pay your own coffee
