Pros

Decent pay if targets are hit

Cons

Used to be an amazing place to work. Had great teams, supportive management, achievable targets. In the last 6 months, that has got worse and worse. Management is toxic, culture is just non existent. Everyone is exhausted and miserable. They are flogging everyone keep working harder and harder resulting to burn out. Handing out PIPs leading to sad, stressed out teams. Im so disappointed it has turned this way. It was a place I had visions of being working in for a long time but that has now diminished. People don’t want to be treated with disrespect and no appreciation.

Pros

HubSpot has evolved significantly over the past several years as the market has evolved - with that, I've seen tremendous adaptability and sense of urgency to deliver on our mission. Our product is world class, particularly in the age of AI, and the pace at which we evolve our product to meet the needs of our customers is unmatched. Personally, I've experienced a ton of professional learning and growth, and have the utmost trust in our leadership team.

Cons

Our internal systems are still behind where they should be for a company of our size and scale, and much of the challenges or siloes we experience ultimately come back to fragmented systems or antiquated processes.

Pros

Lots of autonomy, opportunity to contribute to a product used by thousands of people, streamlined onboarding and infrastructure support enabling product teams to focus on what's important

Cons

There is a noticeable lack of clear leadership and direction, which often results in duplicated work across teams and projects that don’t seem to serve a meaningful purpose. Many employees appear more focused on internal visibility and self-promotion rather than driving customer impact or taking real ownership. Overall, the environment feels disorganized and misaligned, making it one of the more dysfunctional teams I’ve experienced. Big push to incorporate AI into the product this year without the infra to support it.
