Pros

- very friendly colleagues - talented students and staff - relaxed working environment- holiday allowance is the best I've ever had - flexible working hours - international but with a "French touch" - good stepping stone to other careers

Cons

- not city centre location - low salaries, not transparent - bureaucratic - no evident career development path - not meritocratic, promotions are based on nepotism or time spent in the institution; mgmt preference to solve problems by bringing in "outside" talent rather than listening to internal feedback

Pros

HEC is a very international and growing brand that opens doors easily. It's well know and prestigious for students, employers and alumni.

Cons

Old-school institution, sometimes not capable of questioning itself. A bit too confident as for the capacity of its professors to understand real-life challenges outside Academia.
