      Not Bad - Not Great There is Potential

      Pros

      Getinge manufactures and supplies some of the best products in the market today. Those in the field wish the company to succeed and want to make it the great company that it can be and should be.

      Cons

      Most of the issues come from senior management, lack of focus, alignment and long term strategy. Even after the merger of the three companies there is still the push for silos and empire building vs engaging, empowering and coming to market as one voice and single entity facing the customer.

      * Parking on site. * Abundance of marketing material available. * Tactful communication published on social media. * Salaries match industry.

      Cons

      * Poor engagement and lack of effective leadership. * Career development solely based on being 'liked' verses being 'results driven'. * Toxic culture making it very difficult for career longevity. * Lack of WHS and Quality presence.

      Change is good but...

      Pros

      Culture is good as many companies are acquired.

      Cons

      Benefits have changed since merging with parent company. Not sure why they aren't changing to something more similar to the parent company which employees take week long or month long vacations multiple times a year. We lost our unlimited sick time. Most of our work is heading overseas.
