      My opinion and advice: Stay away from lawyer positions in Mahwah!

      Pros

      Good experience, but a terrible job.

      Cons

      I thought the legal department in Mahwah was just a terrible place to work. The only metric I saw there was "staying late" (don't worry about being productive or effective--you just need to stay late!). They're always hiring for legal in Mahwah b/c of relatively high turnover in my opinion. I know this is hard to believe, but you really are better off at a law firm than being in-house counsel in Mahwah!

      Pros

      Very international company and you meet many colleagues from various parts of the world. Almost everyone you meet is very dedicated to doing a good job and is very passionate about helping out with saving lives. I have a great manager who supports me and who gives me freedom to get the job done.

      Cons

      The climate can be more open around challenges. Some internal policies can be more clear.
