Pros

Nice people for the most part and beautiful office. Good benefits.

Cons

Epitome of icky corporate culture at its worst. Fake, back-stabbing, leadership that act like sheep. Speak out against the grain and you risk being reprimanded or pushed out. The emphasis on transparency is complete and utter BS- people tiptoe around the truth. Unbelievably difficult to get information you need to get the job done at such an “innovative” organization. People are not open to change or doing things differently- everything is for optics. I have never worked with a more incompetent HR team, either. Totally siloed organization in a poor strategic position.

Pros

The medical benefits were great

Cons

Reorganization every 2 to 3 years in the research side. Some areas are hard for career development. Some management who were there for decades are stuck in old culture and not adapting to the new ways of working and supporting employees to evolve.

Pros

That I got made redundant when I did

Cons

I've never known any company I have worked for in my 40 years to blatantly encourage their teams and employees to be competitive towards each other so much so that its unbearable to work with some people. Constant back side kissing becomes boring after a while and just shows distaste towards the company and shows that they encourage poor behaviour
