Pros

Low priced produce at the company store.

Cons

Lack of support from senior OPCO management and corporate Quality / Food Safety regarding enforcement of company regulations. Corporate pushes the site managers to communicate issues and to enforce the policies / procedures but do little to nothing when the OPCO president / dept. heads deviate or decide not to follow them. OPCO senior management encourages managers to follow their demands rather than follow company regs. I was limited in my ability to perform my job in enforcing the rules (company and food industry) due to evasion and apathy from OPCO president / senior management. Not a career for someone serious about Quality / Food Safety.

Very relaxed environment just do your job and go home. Can earn more than base pay based on production rate

Cons

To get bonus pay you have to work really hard and you lose bonus pay for mistakes.
