      job allows you to work mostly independently minimal supervision work outside

      Cons

      Required to answer to Fedex for areas that are not their responsibility. you are supposedly an independent contractor but are often treatd as an employee.

      No quality of life. Pay increases are nominal. No incentive in becoming or staying a manager. Unprofessional manner in which you are spoken to from District Manager to Senior Manager to Manager to employees. You are spoken to as if you are dumb & ignorant. You are expected to make the impossible happen. No promotion, you have to apply for open positions. Opportunities for growth are limited. Managers are held accountable for courier mistakes, our own mistakes & mistakes we have made as a team. No job security. I'm living in fear of loosing my job after being employed for 24 years. Should have never gone into management.

      the benefits are good, the pay is good, the people are nice to work with, it can be a fun job and you get to meet all kinds of people

      Cons

      can be stressful having to do so many stops an hour, they care mostly about numbers but that is almost anywhere.
