Pros

internal job transfers, customer focused

Cons

The company lost its charm during the recession. Reduced compensation, most of the employee benefits were removed, suspended 401k, laid off employees. All these happened during recession and then immediately hired lot of contractors. HR and senior management has to do a better job of keeping employees happy. If not it will be just another company and employee attrition may increase as the economy gets back to track.

Pros

Travel and Shipping discounts are available to Express division employees and select family members. The company has a proven track record for being able to adapt and protect the hourly employee positions in times of global economic unceartainty.

Cons

There are no options for Medical Benifits Providers. The annual rise in medical coverage premiums surpass the annual hourly compesation increases. Many of the employee discount programs are concentrated in and exclusive to the company home state.
