Pros

The opportunities at FedEx Freight are good and once in place you have additional opportunities to work at other FedEx Operating Companies.

Cons

The company is such that people tend to stay in place for extended perios which limits upward mobility to some degree. Additionally FedEx Freight has experienced extensive change over the last couple of years relative to company mergers and effeciency moves. These changes, including staffing reductions, have been unsetteling to a large number of employees.

Pros

Great place to work while in school. Management was very accommodating when time off was requested. Offered tuition reimbursement

Cons

Working nights was not ideal but that's what I signed up for. Old dock equipment. Occasionally we ran out of shrink wrap and tape.

Management is very understanding of taking time off to complete your education. Hard work is recognized and management is willing to work with you on your hours.

Cons

Tuition assistance may be disapproved due to the major you select even though that major gets you a job offer from Fedex Express.
