Pros

In house barista work/life balance is good Some people or colleagues are good to work with

Cons

Toxic environment and culture, no growth and recognition. Its a mates club and full of favouritism. Only the management favourites survive in this company otherwise they make your life hell or make you resign from a position. It used to be lot better before. Lots of things changed due to change in management recently.

Pros

- good location and new office - free coffee, fruits and water bottles

Cons

Part of the management team is too focused on pleasing the mother company and not enough on supporting their staff. There are little to no processes in place and communication between teams could be way better. This is again mainly due to the senior managers who have zero communication skills. One exception being the COO who always cares about employees and has a more open attitude than the others. Salary package is poor compared to other IT companies and there is no real sense of community between employees.

Mates club and toxic environment

Pros

Commute is easy as the office is in city.

Cons

I worked when company was Kindred Group, plc. The environment used to be good initially with old management, but it shifted significantly in recent few years, becoming toxic and political. Gaslighting, manipulation, and subtle exclusionary tactics were used to silence voices that don't align with their internal politics. Raising concerns or offering a different perspective—even with good intentions weren’t not welcomed unless you were in the mates club. Favouritism was very evident, especially in promotions, recognition, and access to opportunities. Effort, skill, and leadership were all overshadowed by alignment with the “in group.” It feels like a “king is naked” culture—people see the problems but stayed silent out of fear. Those who speak up were pushed out. It was one of the most emotionally damaging professional experiences I’ve had, and recovering from it took time.
