Had a great internship; Paid internship; learned a lot, made progress; conversion to full-time more than doubled my internship salary; had outstanding supervisors who had my back and believed in me
Cons
After internship little to no effective supervision, so you flounder, they put you onto projects with customers, but you aren't trained, so you observe; there's enough turnover that projects are left with little to no understanding of the context (what's been done, who to talk to, what to do, etc.), some interns were not given raises, and kept on for over a year who had equal or better talent and skills than me; company lost 90% of its stock value; they had to restructure into 2 companies and laid off hundreds recently-beware.
