Pros

Ericsson used to be a fantastic place to work, with a supportive environment that nurtured talent and encouraged innovation. The company once prioritized its employees' well-being, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.

Cons

Unfortunately, all of that changed with the recent leadership overhaul. The current management has turned what was once a thriving workplace into a toxic environment driven purely by cost-cutting and financial metrics. The shift in leadership focus has led to a decline in employee morale, causing even the smartest, most dedicated employees to develop imposter syndrome. The talented individuals who once thrived here are now questioning their worth due to the toxic atmosphere. The new focus is solely on short-term gains, with little regard for long-term innovation or employee retention. The Networks division, in particular, is suffering from a lack of technical direction, making it hard for the company to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry. HR practices have become hostile, with employees being treated poorly during exits. Accusations are made without substantiation, and decisions are driven more by cost-saving than by fairness or transparency.

Pros

Flexible to work from any location, great benefits, nice cafeteria, clean workplace and few good people who care

Cons

Nepotism. There is a Ericsson factory culture and Ericsson corp culture. If you are hired directly into 5G factory you get treated differently vs being at Ericsson before factory was constructed. Nationality plays a role in nepotism. If you are Brazilian you get better opportunities within the factory. If you are Swedish, you get better opportunities anywhere you move around. Leaders from same country of origin tend to favor themselves and I have heard 1:1 in native language laughing and giggling.

Pros

Great people and interesting work, if you are in radio group.

Cons

Only Swedes get a promotion. Only people under 50 get a promotion. Even though the CEO repeatedly asked staff to speak-up, DONT. The top 3 leadership layers are Swedish, who resent the Santa Clara work force as "too expensive."
