Pros

Fitness facilities, showers and locker rooms, indoor parking for cars and bicycles.

Cons

No clear direction in this company, it is a failing company that does not value its employees, and allows the wrong calibre of people to become managers. As a company, Ericsson is very reactive, it is not a leader in anything anymore. This is clear to employees and morale was low when I worked there.

Pros

Traveled the world. Had great customers, wonderful colleagues. Very customer-centric organization.

Cons

Once a fun, productive environment and a sense of community--vanished when Angel Ruiz took the reins in North America. There's a very high chance that you will eventually be let go if you work for Ericsson in the U.S, even if you are a solid performer. No loyalty whatsoever. No trust in the employees. A strict "no working from home" policy for most. Backwards thinking for a technology company. Employee morale very low (as of 2010). Open office environment is executed terribly. A lot of people in small spaces (Plano office).

Pros

There are no pros. Company full of lies

Cons

After spending 7yrs with Sprint Ericsson I was laid off. Then I find out about this 2 yr no re-hire policy. The way the did the lay off was completely unethical and according to the EEOC may not be legal I have seen jobs that I could do, but also a position that I was an expert at and won't get hired. I might mention that I'm 61. I'v seen this company destroy peoples lives. They would not let me return to my desk and in the process destroye all of my personal notes and papers I had collected on my own that did not pertain to any of Ericssons business practices. They should go back to Swedon where they came from. All talk, no walk
