      Be Prepared for Constant Change

      Pros

      Best Benefits ever! great PTO and flexible hours. Worked with some really great people who helped me in my career.

      Cons

      If you can't handle constant change, don't work here. You must be an adaptable person to work in this environment -awkward tools and frequent reorgs are the norm. Telecom is a fast moving industry and this company is trying to keep up with costs and get ahead. I just wish they would not layoff folks so frequently and suddenly. They are in cost-cutting mode again.

      Blind eye for bullying

      Interesting work, remuneration is slightly above average.

      Cons

      Corporate management are too hands off allowing local bad management practices to go unchecked. Bullying is embedded in the Southampton management, as is an aggressive handling of any woman who dares to get pregnant.

      Its a good entry level company to start your career. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Get the hell out as soon as you can after you gain a little experience. Constant re-orgs, sudden layoffs. Everyone just wants to get through the day and does not care about the company, which is very very understandable and is sad. True story - Management constantly referred to employees as resources in a town hall meeting. A new British guy stood up and took offence about it, he was indirectly told to shut up by the VP and gave a lecture as to how this is a capitalist and not a socialist country. 6 month down the road even the VP was fired. You will be worrying about your job every 6 months. Way too much politics, and your job is a little safe if you play the dirty politics and get closer to your manager. Merit and talent does not matter. Every one is expendable as per the management. If your work is repeatable it will be outsourced and if you don't find a project, you will be fired.
