Business Outlook
Pros
Large company, lots of resources at your disposal. People really seem to care about the outcome and the work that they do. Good managers and mostly good people to work with and work for.
Cons
Management drives value-less initiatives. Compensation doesn't keep up with the market. Always have to look over your shoulder because you never know when the next round of layoffs are. Tough place to be successful with all of the internal politics. Little to no growth potential - Career development is hard to come by unless you have an outstanding manager who at every turn is willing to stick his/her neck out for you, or you work in one of the target growth areas and can prove among the masses that you deserve a promotion.
