Ok workplace but beware of the usual equity investment BS

Generally a pretty good place to work. Good work/life balance People are very respectful of each other.

Cons

Salaries are not real competitive. Another downside is the kind of negative influence that is typical of equity investors...somewhat focused on growth over people. For example, CVC came in and one of their guys has forced the implementation of the "Jack Welch" approach of laying off lowest 10% of performers in each group, regardless if actual value - a principal that is now almost universally accepted as counterproductive in the long run.
