Some of the bosses are good at other things, but really bad managers and they don't seem to care about developing their managers into good ones, or moving them if they're not good managers.
People are overworked. I've known several people, including myself, who have gone to the doctor or emergency room for heart issues, due to stress.
A few years ago they made everyone salary a few months before requiring everyone to do a lot of overtime. That sucked and was very counter-productive.
I've put so much of my heart, soul, life, energy into this company... for what? To be treated poorly.
They don't follow through on promises. I was told I'd get a particular raise and after I started the new position they changed their mind. I was still doing the new position, but didn't get the raise I was told I'd get.
Even after getting a doctors note, it took about 9 months to get a stand-up desk and ergonomic keyboard.
If you have a good boss, they'll shield you from all the crap and poor decisions that happen above them. Once I no longer had a good boss, I got to experience more of the negative. I loved working here at first, while I had a good boss, since then it's been really emotionally difficult.
Part of their motto is "take care of our employees". I wish they didn't have that there. If they didn't say that, I wouldn't have expected it. To me it does not seem like they are genuinely concerned about taking care of their employees.
